Dr. Maryam Zangouei Boushehri, born in 1978, initiated her dental education in 1996 at the Shiraz Dental School. Immediately after completing her general dentistry degree in 2002, she successfully entered the specialized field of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology through the entrance examination held by the same school in 2003. With great enthusiasm, she has been actively engaged in her specialized studies ever since.

During her specialized training, she actively benefited from the guidance of her professors in the fields of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pathology and Oral Diseases, Medical Radiology, and the Head and Neck Surgery and Otolaryngology group. She considers herself fortunate to have had such a unique opportunity for learning throughout her career.

In 2005, she volunteered to join the School of Dentistry in Yazd as part of a program and, while working as a faculty member in the public sector, she established her specialized imaging center. Her years of activity in Yazd, both at the university and in the private sector, have been marked by dedicated and sincere service to the noble and honorable people of that province. These years represent significant and delightful chapters in her life, fostering continued friendships and relationships with her colleagues in Yazd.

In 2010, she returned to Shiraz upon completing her commitment period and established her private center. Although she has not been formally employed by the university, her strong passion for education and research has led her to continue to collaborate voluntarily with educational and research centers in Yazd and Shiraz. She has willingly contributed a significant portion of her knowledge and experience to this dynamic and enthusiastic academic community. Many of her students, with pride, are now successful and leading colleagues of hers, and she is delighted and grateful for their achievements.

Dr. Boushehri’s imaging center is firmly based on three fundamental principles:

• Wise service based on up-to-date knowledge,
• Honesty with clients whom we consider as close relatives.
• Commitment and responsibility towards each service provided, employing scientific, technical, health, and radiation protection principles.

While we have always relied on reliable sources of up-to-date knowledge, creativity is an inseparable part of our work process. Our colleagues, with whom we have had the honor of long-term collaboration, can testify that imitation and copying from others have never been our way of working and performing.

We have always been diligent researchers and explorers in the procurement of imaging devices and techniques. Our documentation for using our tools is not based on market trends in medical equipment; rather, we have relied on thorough research and evidence to acquire the best medical equipment from Iran and around the world.

Dr. Maryam Boushehri has always taken it upon herself to actively educate the staff of the organization based on her own methods throughout these years. She is pleased that, while fostering entrepreneurship and income generation, she and her colleagues have been on a path of personal development within this dynamic organization.
